Frog Spotter & Peat Bog Fanciers

World's End

Here we are at World’s End again, the the terminus end of a line from nowhere.

An occasional passenger train runs, not to any kind of timetable, but simply on an ad-hock bases if enough people turn up wanting to travel to World’s End for some reason or another.

Here we have one such train arriving with passengers (or customers as we refer to them today) consisting of 4 frog spotters and 2 peat bog fanciers looking for mummified bog men from the end of the last ice age and Nasal Nigel.

Waving Weginald waves at the arriving train which consists of a couple of quite modern looking carriages of mid-European origin, which by English narrow gauge standards are ‘rather fancy’ with the bogies giving an excellent ride for such a railway.

The building on the left which today is a station building (other days it’s simply a store for illicit bounty) is based on one that can currently by found on the Ffestiniog Railway, the builder of this railway Colonel Tarquin-Fugg-Hughes rather fancying his very own copy.

It’s rumoured that the recent PECO laser cut kit is based in the building here rather than the one on the Ffestiniog, though that might just be total nonsense.

And finally, fans of Bob Geeza Cat will be pleased to see that he’s managed to find his way to World’s End - for he’s such a clever cat 🐾
