Friday's Steamy Bit of the Somerset Levels

Southern Railway built 8F No. 48660 collects a smart but ancient LSWR Road Van from the siding at Catcott Burtle.

  1. The long grass looks fantastic, as does the rest of the scene. Did you do the grass in one go with the static applicator or multiple passes with different colours?

  2. It's a top layer blend of 6mm Noch 'winter' 6mm Mininatur 'autumn' randomly applied onto an existing Silfor 'autumn rough pasture' and hanging basket line base. I think the trick with scenery is to blend lots of different techniques.
