About ten years ago I was told the printed page would not survive the ravages of the internet and modern technology. I was told "this is the last big chunk of metal we will be buying the presses will all be digital in the future". Aged 37 this was a serious statement.
How would I survive this revolution?

As you know I have side-stepped the trade slightly by working on the Health and Safety side of the industry. The ironic thing is, on Monday we take delivery of our biggest ever Printing Press at a cost running into seven figures which added to this is the cost of a new binding line and ancillary equipment not forgetting an additional factory. We now have 7 large format presses giving at total of 44 conventional printing units and two digital presses; we employ 160 staff working 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.

Thank god people still read the printed word.Paul Pettitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07403175667322834082noreply@blogger.com
