Betty Blogsworth, who is sometimes known as a bit of the jobs worth at Her Majesty's Customs and Excise office at nearby Bristol Docks will shortly be marrying accountant and well known railway photographer Ivan Locksmith. Ivan as I'm sure you all know doesn't need any excuse to feature his pre-war Austin in his railway photographs, but now with his forthcoming marriage the car has to compete with Betty for exposure onto film.
As well as a new lady in his life, Ivan was keen to try out his new 135mm f4 Elmar on his Leica loaded with a roll of Kodachrome 8.
