A Bit of Silliness

Let me just say that this is just a bit of silliness with Photoshop, about 20 layers and too much spare time!

I also must apologise to those who don't like soap, those people who constantly whack me at shows with their rucksacks and to those who never left the nest.

Comments please!

  1. I like it. I wonder if the rucksack-wearers drive the same way as they walk? If so, I've met several...

  2. I like it too especially as the loco on the front makes it look, at first glance a bit like Model Railroader!

  3. You are so right about the hygiene issue. My partner attended a show with me, once, years ago, and never again since. The simple reason was the smell. Queuing for shows like Ally Pally, or taking the shuttle bus are challenges to the alfactory function. Sometimes one walks into a show and the place is humming, nasally. It's so unnecessary.

  5. Hi Chris,

Like it a lot as well.
Spot on selfspot, although no doubt not personal to a lot of us, we can all relate to this .....
    Thanks indeed for the laugh.

  6. Why do die-hard enthusiasts have such poor hygene? What the hell are they doing with their lives that they cannot find time to look in the mirror and get a shower once a morning. One must assume they have a job in order to afford a loco or two and a rolling stock alone. I attend many model railway events and the whiff, acne and greasy haired look of months without a touch of soap, water and a splodge of shampoo is why I never take my wife. If you are one of these, reading this..GET A BLOODY WASH. YOU STINK!

  7. Often it is a person's clothes that smell I understand but I have considered that the next time I "smell" a visitor at a show I am going to tell him (or her - ugh!). Perhaps we should distribute bars of soap and Persil tablets.
